Underdog è un cane antropomorfo, che è una parodia di supereroi di Superman ed eroi simili con identità segrete. La premessa era che "umile e adorabile" Shoeshine Boy, un cane dei cartoni animati, era in verità il supereroe Underdog. Quando i cattivi minacciarono, Shoeshine Boy si tuffò in una cabina telefonica, dove si trasformò nell'eroe in costume e mascherato, distruggendo la cabina nel processo quando i suoi superpoteri furono attivati. Nel film live-action, è apparso come un beagle che è diventato l'animale domestico di Jack Unger.

Underdog is an anthropomorphic dog, who is a superhero parody of Superman and similar heroes with secret identities. The premise was that the "humble and lovable" Shoe Shine, a cartoon dog, was actually the superhero Underdog. Sherman Fangsworth è un ragazzo buono e un po' imbranato, che ha un grosso problema. Infatti, ogni quattrocento anni, nella sua famiglia possono nascere dei licantropi e lui è uno di questi.

Gli basta quindi vedere la Luna, o qualcosa che ne ricordi vagamente la forma, per trasformarsi in un voracissimo licantropo di nome Luni. Per fortuna, i suoi amici Biff, Kim e Puggsy non lo abbandonano mai e, oltre a tenerlo fuori dai guai, utilizzano le sue doti di licantropo per sventare le minacce di mostri e creature maligne.

Sherman Fangsworth is a good-natured, slightly goofy guy who has a big problem. In fact, every four hundred years, werewolves can be born in his family and he is one of them.

It is therefore enough for him to see the Moon, or something that vaguely recalls its shape, to transform into a very voracious werewolf named Luni. Luckily, his friends Biff, Kim and Puggsy never abandon him and, in addition to keeping him out of trouble, use his werewolf skills to thwart the threats of monsters and evil creatures.

Sherman Fangsworth est un gars de bonne humeur, un peu maladroit, qui a un gros problème. En fait, tous les quatre cents ans, des loups-garous peuvent naître dans sa famille et il en fait partie.

Il lui suffit donc de voir la Lune, ou quelque chose qui rappelle vaguement sa forme, pour se transformer en un loup-garou très vorace nommé Luni. Heureusement, ses amis Biff, Kim et Puggsy ne l'abandonnent jamais et, en plus de lui éviter les ennuis, utilisent ses talents de loup-garou pour contrecarrer les menaces des monstres et des créatures maléfiques.
