Si e Am sono una coppia di gatti dall'aspetto sinistro, che sfruttano l'affetto ricevuto da zia Sarah per mettere nei guai gli altri. Sono gatti furtivi e amano combinare guai e pasticci per il proprio divertimento. Si deduce che siano viziati e che approfittino delle coccole di zia Sarah, considerandola una protettrice e non una padrona amata.
Curiosità :
Nella trasposizione letteraria del film scritta da Ward Greene durante la produzione, Si e Am apparivano nel finale : i gatti siamesi nascondono il corpo del topo per scherzo, ma quando scoprono che il Vagabondo verrà soppresso per aver apparentemente infastidito il bambino, esprimono in lacrime il loro rimorso e poi cercano di fare ammenda rivelando il nascondiglio del topo a Lilli e zia Sarah.
Si and Am are a sinister-looking pair of cats who exploit the affection they receive from Aunt Sarah to get others into trouble. They are furtive cats and love to cause mischief and messes for their own amusement. It's assumed they're spoiled and take advantage of Aunt Sarah's pampering, viewing her as a protector rather than a beloved master.
Trivia :
In the literary adaptation of the film written by Ward Greene during production, Si and Am appeared at the end: the Siamese cats hide the mouse's body as a joke, but when they discover that the Tramp will be put down for apparently bothering the child, they tearfully express their remorse and then try to make amends by revealing the mouse's hiding place to Lady and Aunt Sarah.
