Visto che Burns è debole, Smithers lo cura, lo nutre, (come una balia) controlla i suoi dipendenti della Centrale Nucleare di Springfield. Oltre ha prendersi cura di lui, ne è perdutamente innamorato (capendosi che è gay) è lo sogna spesso nei suoi sogni. è anche un collezionista di Malibù Stacy ed è celibe.       

Smithers is the assistant to the wicked old billionaire, Mr. Burns.

Since Burns is weak, Smithers treats him, feeds him (like a nurse) controls his employees at Springfield Nuclear Power Station. Besides taking care of him, he is madly in love (realizing that he is gay) and dreams him often in his dreams. he is also a collector of Malibu Stacy and is unmarried.
