Voltorb è un Pokémon di tipo Elettro introdotto nella prima generazione.

Voltorb è un Pokémon simile ad una Poké Ball con la faccia e senza il pulsante. La metà superiore del suo corpo è rossa, mentre quella inferiore è bianca. È stato avvistato per la prima volta nell'impianto dove furono inventate le Poké Ball moderne.

Si evolve in Electrode a partire dal livello 30. 

Se turbato, Voltorb potrebbe esplodere; può anche eseguire potenti mosse elettriche.
