Una strega di nome Samantha incontra e sposa un mortale di nome Darrin Stephens. Mentre Samantha asseconda il desiderio di Darrin di diventare una normale casalinga suburbana, la sua famiglia magica disapprova il matrimonio e spesso interferisce nella vita della coppia. A witch named Samantha meets and marries a mortal named Darrin Stephens. While Samantha indulges Darrin's desire to become a normal suburban housewife, her magical family disapproves of the marriage and often interferes in the couple's lives. Episodes often begin with Darrin falling under a spell, the effects of which cause him to get into trouble with other mortals such as his boss, clients, parents, and neighbors, but by the end of each episode, everything always turns out for the best.
