In questo episodio è un amico del pilota Poe Dameron che gli affida una mappa che deve essere consegnata alla sede di Resistenza dove sta Luke Skywalker. Quando Poe verrà rapito da Kyro Ren,
il droide fugge attraverso il deserto del pianeta Jakku è incontra Rey, Alla fine si unisce a Rey, Finn, (un Stormtrooper rinnegato), Han Solo e Chewbacca per portare la mappa a Leila e si ricongiunge con Poe.
